Come-n-try sessions

WHAT TO EXPECT

A 2 hour Come-n-Try session offers a unique opportunity to try your hand at blacksmithing, with your hand forged item as inspiration to continue this ancient art of Blacksmithing. Materials are provided.

WHAT TO BRING

You will need to supply your own:

  • Safety glasses (Prescription glasses are acceptable)
  • Hearing protection (If required, the Forge can supply foam earplugs)

The cost of the session is $50

Chris Fuller

Chris Fuller has been with ABASA almost from the beginning. As an owner operator of his own  full time blacksmith business ‘Artist Blacksmith Studio‘,  Chris has created many beautiful and well forged artwork pieces for private and business customers in South Australia.

COME-N-TRY FORMAT

FOR EVERYONE

The first Saturday of each month Come-n-try session is open to everyone, 16 years and over.

FOR WOMEN

Once a month on a Sunday.

This is a more relaxed ‘Come and Try’ (10am till 3pm) with lunch and coffee breaks, in which you will make a finished piece incorporating several basic blacksmithing techniques.
